Main responsibilities:
- Carry out manual testing of web-based applications independently;
- Prepare and maintain clear and comprehensive manual test cases;
- Support investigation and resolution of issues received from the support team;
- Detect, document, and analyze software defects, as well as provide suggestions to enhance product quality and prevent repeat issues;
- Be involved in all stages of the QA lifecycle, including requirements analysis, test design, execution of manual tests, and release validation;
- Work in close cooperation with developers, QA engineers, and Product Owners within the team.
Requirements and skills:
- Technical education or background in a relevant field;
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a QA Engineer position;
- Basic understanding of computer networking fundamentals;
- Solid experience with Windows systems, including registry operations and network settings;
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies, especially VMware and Hyper-V;
- Basic skills in working with databases such as MS SQL and PostgreSQL;
- Experience using remote access and desktop control tools;
- Good understanding of software testing basics, including testing approaches and methodologies;
- Fluent Russian and English are required.
In addition to the above requirements, the following skills would be advantageous:
- Experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes;
- Knowledge of performance and/or security testing techniques;
- Ability to create structured test cases and test plans;
- Previous experience in bug tracking and defect reporting;
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar issue tracking systems;
- Experience using browser developer tools for troubleshooting and testing.
