WE ARE LOOKING FOR ETL/ELT DATA WAREHOUSE ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into the data warehouse;
  • Create and maintain data models, schemas, and structures to support reporting and analytics;
  • Implement data quality checks and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency;
  • Monitor and optimize ETL/ELT processes for performance and efficiency;
  • Transform and cleanse raw data into usable formats for analysis and reporting;
  • Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline data integration;
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL/ELT processes, data models, and workflows;
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions;
  • Ensure data security and compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and internal policies;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration, quality, and warehouse performance issues;
  • Plan and implement data warehouse scalability to handle growing data volumes.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field;
  • Proven experience in ETL/ELT development and data warehousing;
  • Proficiency with ETL/ELT tools and technologies (e.g., Apache Oozie, Talend, Apache Spark, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory);
  • Strong SQL and database design skills, including experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle);
  • Familiarity with data warehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery);
  • Programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, Java) for automation and data manipulation;
  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices;
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services is a plus;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment;
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity;
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance is a plus.

Optional Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications in ETL/ELT tools, cloud platforms, or data warehousing (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer).
