NEW YEAR RESOLUTION OR 4 RECRUITER'S PROMISES FOR 2024

At the beginning of the year, we make а plan for the next 365 days. I will learn to swim, take up sports, spend more time with my family, and learn a foreign language. Professional achievements are also on our list of promises.

What can a recruiter promise himself in 2024 for professional development and growth? We decided to speculate on the topic.

Promise #1. I will take on the challenge of artificial intelligence (AI)! Whether I like it or not, AI is the future of recruiting. I’ll start an AI integration and schedule some time a week to work with tools like ChatGPT, Bing, Bard, and Notion. I’ll subscribe to bloggers who are experts in working with AI to learn about new trends in using AI in recruiting. I will write queries and check their relevance in practice. I will take courses to become an expert in this field and leverage my workflow.

Promise #2. I will improve my communication skills and pump up my EQ! I will regularly listen to experts in interpersonal communication and apply recommended practices in my work. I will take one of the EQ tests, for example, https://lnkd.in/eytGvP8, to understand what skills need to be improved.

Promise #3. Expand my social media presence! I’ll explore new channels and tools for sourcing candidates. I will discover the power of TikTok, Instagram/Threads, and X to find unique candidates.

Promise #4. Take more time to rest! Rest increases productivity. In recruiting, where burnout is a real problem, regular breaks and mental releases will provide recovery for sustained success.
